Summer is here! And what a good time to go to “the Cabin” for the newest fabrics and projects to fill up those lazy days. Learn something new, pick up a new book or drop into one of our Sew-cials. We have FUN and exciting events planned that you’ll just have to come to! We are planning our first  Downtown Auburn Quilt show! The show will run Friday, Sept 5th and Saturday, Sept 6th and will feature a vintage quilt collection by Catherine Kypta. See inside for further details.

The Fabric Frenzy Shop Hop also runs September 5, 6 & 7 featuring 9 shops in the 49er area. Stash Busters Club is back to help you find the bottom of your stash pile and there is a new MYSTERY QUILT weekend with Patrice Sims.  Try a new technique with a workshop in Contemporary Landscapes with Kathy Sanchez or build your skills in a sampler series by Lynn Cooper or a machine quilting class by

 Jill Schumacher. There’s lots to learn in the ABC’s of Quilting section! Returning authors, Rami Kim and Judy Sisneros will teach projects from their newest books and for the first time we are excited to welcome Harriett Hargrave to the Cabin! .9 Month Block of the Month 
Starting Saturday July 12 2008

     We have an exciting new Block of the Month for you! The
      fun   will continue each second Saturday of the month
      We have two color way's to choose from.
  Bring your completed block back the next month, stay for the   demonstration, and receive your next fabric kit FREE. Attend one   of our three demonstration times: 8:10, 8:30, or 9:00 am.
  Initial cost of $30.00 includes complete pattern tool and first
  months fabric. This year you have more flexibility for design
  layouts that are "Build as you go"
       You will have a complete top at the end of 9 months
     Space Limited. We will also offer a Bom Block Help class
